Release Notes for FLEXLM.9.2-X
==============================

This is the Quadrics release of the FLEXlm license
manager from Macrovision Software (www.macrovision.com)
which is required if you are running RMS with a permanent
license.

If you are using a demo RMS license from Quadrics you 
do not need to run the FLEXLM product.  Just
copy the rms.lic file into /usr/lib/rms/flexlm.

If you have purchased RMS and have a permanent 
license you need to install the FLEXLM product, copy 
the rms.lic file into /usr/lib/rms/flexlm and execute 
'/etc/init.d qslmgrd start'.

Please see the 'Licensing' section of the RMS Reference Manual for
full information about RMS License management.

* Added Linux Standards Base [www.linuxbase.org] init script
  compliance to the qslmgrd init script and the qsflexlm postinstall and

  distribution. This will only affect non-RedHat and non-SuSE systems,
  for which there is native support.
